In need of crank knowledge

broke into the cases on my 74 and my crank is shelled out. Was wondering what years of crank are compatible

All "447" crankshafts '74 thru '83 are interchangeable, and quite plentiful on eBay...

74-83, (447)...........Early 71-73, (256), will also go in but the cam chain sprockets have a different amount of teeth on them so the cams have to be swapped in as a set, or the 256 Cam sprocket has to be swapped on to the 447 Cam.....Harder to get some parts for them so stick with the 447

The rod ends where the wrist pins go through are worn oddly and my micro said they were way out of specs. Have new jugs, pistons and rings and have had the valves and heads reworked. So I might as well put a good crank in it while I’m into it this deep. Just can’t afford a whole new reworked crank assembly right now‍
