The bike has the vm34 carbs, but it originally had the bs34 carbs, and still has the stock boots.

The bs34 carbs have a outer diameter of roughly 42.5mm, the boots have a inner diameter of about 42mm.

The Vms have a outer diameter of about 40mm, I have seen mixed post on this, some say the stock boots will work, some say no. I do know that the Vms are fairly loose in the boots until you tighten the clamps.

Anyone running the 34mm vms in stock boots, and has it presented any problems for you?

Thanks in Advance, Rick

I have ran the vm34 in the stock boots. If do you not have the vm34 boots that go with the carbs you can run the bs34 boots just make sure they are tight.
