.....is it a bit slow around here?

Hi Guys,

Everyone out riding? Apparently there are parts of the world where it gets warmer than 43F---are people out riding bikes? PFC here---first word "Pretty". Last word "cold".

I've been away from home for a couple of weeks, and the Yam needs a trickle charge overnight, but I think I will get some miles on her tomorrow. Been working on Brand X (BMW R-80) for a few days and she is also nearly ready. After that comes the Triumph and then a BSA.

So---where is everyone? Hopefully they are---> :bike:

I completed a two year build on my bike two months ago, have been riding to work when it is not raining, 6:30 am, 30, 28, 34 degrees. Just 20 miles north of Barb, lots of rain. Just had a nice ride this afternoon.

isnt that the older hot chick on that sitcom,'just shoot me'?
Any ways, I havent been around, because Ive been getting my old reliable suzuki maruader back on the road. Had serious carb issues. After I gave it a bafflectomy a few years ago, It never really ran right. although not quite lean, it still stumbled and refuses to co-operate when It was time to haul arse.. So, I found a few used MJ's,needles. (By the way, I found xsjohns doppleganger) did some tinkering, and viola. she finds 85mph noproblem.
As far as my xs, Im' down to the 'other' wirering, you know, the blinkers, the horn, kill switch. since I dont have original headlight, its hard to hide all that wiring upfront in plain sight. I havent started it yet, my first rebiuld, chop, and I have never even rode a 650 before(well, I pretend in my garage and make cycle noises) Ive re-started numouse times to keep it from looking like a rat's nest. By the way, any one have pet rats? just picked up two brothers yesterday. All black, white feet.
motor on.:bike:

It's actually Sheryl Fenn; I fell in love with her character Audrey Horne in Twin Peaks...
It's my avatar....because....I'm patriotic.

Did you really get rats? I love rodents, they make for surprisingly loyal and affectionate pets.

Sad thing is, I could probably get my bike finished in about 10 hours of work...but knowing that also makes it easy to procrastinate.
