Is this a pamco or what?

My brother has an 81 with electronic ignition. The right side of the motor has no advance weights, just a nut on the rod. This picture is the left side of the motor. This isnt a pamco brand is it? I am curious because i have an 81 i have a pamco for, but it was my understanding i would still either need the advance weights or the new electronic advance from pamcopete on the right? I am wrong? What brand is my brothers? Thanks!

It's not a Pamco. Maybe a Bransen? I'm not really familiar with those though.

Yes, thats a Boyer Bransden pick up plate. Somewhere on the bike will be a blue, red or perhaps black box which is the ignition unit. More info on Boyer Bransden can be found at http://www.boyerbransden.com/
