It's past time to start XS2 Resurrection

I had to flip your pics upright, unconfused.

Viewing rearward, the 1st pic shows the "break" on the right, brake side.

Viewing forward, the 2nd pic shows the "break" on the left, drivechain side.

Huh? What gives? 2 breaks? 1 break spanning under the downtube?

Already thought about that. Put in swingarm tube in during weld. Should give me correct dimensions. Going to use brass bushings for swingarm. Add shims or machine as necessary.

IIRC and I'll look tomorrow I think the later frames went to an oval or built up tube across there instead of just one lightweight tube. 73 to 74 saw a substantial upgrade, stiffening and reinforcement of about the whole frame.

I was going to ask you to see if you have the same offset that I have have. To make you feel better I looked at my other 72 and the frame is not broke. Since it's still in one piece it's not easy to check for offset.

I’ll try and get some photos tomorrow!

Used many different welders during different times. What do you guys suggest?

Gary, what exactly are we seeing in your photographs? I’m not home right now to compare with mine. Has that one of yours been beefed up?
Nope all Jenn you whine Yo-mamaha, after the big frame beef up in 74
