It's Winter Again

And that means finding things to do indoors.

Seeing as my full-size John Deere Crawler project was a bust, I figured I'd go with the next-best thing: A 1:16 scale Ertl toy.

I'll be replacing the broken bits (air cleaner stack, muffler, steering handles) and adding a dozer blade to it.

I'll keep running commentary here. and post major update pictures here as things progress.

Its turned to winter here too..and getting colder next week...got the gas tank full of non ethanol..battery is indoors and on a tender...so it will be for several weeks...

Done except for tracks. They're out there, but they're stupid expensive. $40 plus shipping for a pair and I only paid $15 for the dang thing to start with. I'll keep looking, but I suspect I'll wind up paying the man.
