Javelina encounter

Thats cool. recently reading about how the coyote has spread throughout most of the Us due to their only natural predator, Wolves, being hunted out in some areas and to near extinction. This has let the coyote spread and the damage from them to wildlife and farmers has been, is, worse than when wolves were present.

Bob cat looks real pretty. Tabby cats always look more interesting

Is the fox natural species or introduced??

You also have some great wildlife around your area.

I think the biggest reason for their ability to thrive in urban areas is their adaptability. They are content to live and breed right in residential communities, like this den of pups we found a while back , just a 5 minute walk from our house.

When we first moved here, I was a little apprehensive about Coyotes, especially as a threat to our dog, but I’ve come to realize they don’t really want encounters, they always try to avoid you.

It helps them , that we have four golf courses in just a few square miles, lots of water available for them and they attract all sorts of wildlife for snacks.
As for the Kit fox , it is a native species and getting to be a threatened species, it is very small and shy , it only reaches about 5-6 lbs ( 2.5 kilos ) I’ve never seen one before moving here. They act like a feral cat.
