Those polished up Real Nicely !
Rotors look “bitchin” !!
Can’t wait to see all this
(a smart phone can’t spell “bitchin”,
only “bitcoin”) lol !
Bolt heads look very nice.
Those dull flimsy looking washers need some of your attention.
Hey Jim, You’re sure doin some pretty work there.
Can I send my nasty front caliper your way so you can make it shine? Oh ......and some of that fancy hardware too please. I honestly don’t know how this has escaped my attention for so long!
There was a phrase recently
Just tell everyone the 77D is a work in progress...
Ha! That wouldn’t be a stretch! I don’t think I’ll ever run out of things that could or should be done to my bikes!
Bob, I’m way behind you.. left myself wide open there.
Shoot I can’t even figure out which parts I even want to use anymore
Alright Jim - just how did you get these bolt heads to look like that?
I assume you used a belt sander to remove the embossed marks and then a polisher to buff them up....?
I use medium then fine Roloc discs to knock the embossed numbers off .....
Then finish with a quick turn on the buffing wheel .....
Nice! Thanks Jim.
I've got my winter activity planned now.
Mailman jus' came by....
Wait for it.....
Installed the splitter block on the triple and loosely fitted all 3 lines. Looks like they'll line up pretty good. Pulled the front wheel and installed drilled discs...
Looks really nice Jim!
Jim . Thanks for the tip about Bolt Depot. Very cool.
..... and we're done.
Wow... what a difference. Front brake is now a 1 or 2 finger affair.... I can actually lock the front tire.
For a total investment well under a hundred bucks, I couldn't be happier.
