Thanks for posting this, you've certainly had us all in anxious anticipation.

Congratze buddy!

Well Jim`s restoration-build has had overnight to soak in and I must say "What a Inspiration!!" I got more work done today than I have in the last 2 months. I can`t wait to see his finished product.
P.S. Have you started your next build yet??

Ol' Dipstick Here.....
On the first run video Monday... it ran (yay) but it sounded like one of the carbs had an air leak. Yesterday I couldn't get it to run at all.... WTF?!? Finally decided the carbs needed to come back off. You realize how hard it is puttin' them carbs in and out without scratching the paint on the down-tube.....f&ck me.....
So any way, started by popping the drains loose on the bowls. Came back out 5 min. later and the drain pan had a few dribbles in it, but basically no gas... hmmm...
To make an (already too) long story short, when I made my external gas tank, I plugged the outlet with RTV. All I got was a drip every 15 sec. or so. Cleaned the outlet, put it all back together and well... like Skynyrd sez in sweet home...... turn it up.....

'Till I get my pod filters and new exhaust, that's close enough. :D
