Looks GOOD Jim!! Soon it`ll look like a motorcycle again.

That thing is looking Swwwweeeeeeeet!

As for the K&L I think the master kits are good just font trust the carb kits........the jets don't match up to the factory Mikuni numbers.

It's dark. I'm wearing sunglasses. It's still too bright & shiny.
That's what it's supposed to look like. I'm diggin' it....

Yeah.... had to turn the lights down in the garage... ;)
Thanks Tebo.

Thanks Spectra... and thanks for the info on K&L.

Thanks Meddy.
Your brake hose show up yet?

Great looking restoration Jim, I love that part when its coming part together, will be nice to get the wheels back in.

More cleanup.
As you can tell from the first pic, not only is the headlight housing rusted, it's also egg shaped...

Bead blasted the inside and took a Roloc disc to the worst of it. Pitting wasn't all the way through anywhere, so I went ahead and took a deadblow mallet and block of wood to it. It's round within 1/32nd" now. Looks much better....

This is some seriously durable stuff. Housing should last another 40 yrs....
