I just did the electric starter delete. After removing my right cover, and deleting the gears from the starter assembly, I checked my clutch basket, and reassembled. I noticed that the kickstart arm was kinda loosely in place, but it went back together just fine. I put the kickstart arm on the shaft, and it has a lot of play in it now. I haven't even been able to give it a try as there is so much play in the arm... I must have done something to misalign the shaft when putting the cover back on. Can anyone tell me what to look for when I go to find the problem? I've read a few posts on how it must be closely looked after, but there is nothing further about it that I can find.

Thanks

I just found a video attached to another thread that may have answered my problem. I let the spring unravel it's original tension, and it needs to be brought round to give the arm spring.
