Leather Lacing??

Anyone know a good link to lacing a leather solo seat? Ive looked around and cant seem to find a detailed how to. Saw something called the mexican lace but...DAMN! Looked amazing but way over my head!



Bought a TC bros high back and ended up cutting the material off and using the pan and foam. Leather and tools are on the way!!

I seem to recall seeing a few leather tutorials on youtube. search on there for DIY solo seat, that sort of thing. good luck

Tandy leather.com. The lace ur talking about is called the round braid,Mexican round braid, Mexican basket weave. It's not all that hard, just time consuming. I do custom leather, seats, bags grip and more. That the lacing I use most of the time. Takes a lot of lace. If u have 3' to lace, will need about 9' of lace.
