The upswept pipe does increase the length but it is minimal.
Hard to believe she went from that to this. Gonna close it out soon.
It’s gonna be a looker! You go Gatorman!
Thanks Bob. Couldn’t have done it without you.
You’re welcome, but I’ve seen some of the bikes you’ve restored. Some nice stuff!
Great looking bike! What are some of the custom changes you’ve made?
750 kit, Keihin carbs, megacycle cams, MIke's header with supertrapp, 19 inch CR450 wheels, Brembo rear caliper, all of the billet stuff from Ken Fontenot's Cycle Sports street tracker, custom air box, billet anodized carb adapters for K & N filters, electronic ignition, billet oil catch can, Hugh's small engine oil filter cooler, billet kick starter plug to match, billet rear sets, upgraded charging system, Trail tech computer. ELR rear shocks revalved, stiffer front spring, Hugh's fork brace. All controls, bearings, etc. are new. It seems to catch on fire and the only thing that puts it out are $100 bills. Should be fun though.
Paint getting last coat of clear.
Done a small video of the recent re-furb, sounds a bit rattly due to enclosed space, i am going to put a new cam chain tensioner on as well, will be monitoring the charging rates although it's all been cleaned new brushes and connections cleaned or replaced, if it flops i will PMA it.
Love this bike! Do you still make the hardtail kit?
my beautiful rat
Here is my 72 enjoying the Spanish sun for the winter. Over 2 years work bring it back to life with a little help from this form. Only done about 120km on it. Still got a few bugs sort out. Hope to ride it back to the uk in the new year.
Not mine. But I saw this bike in David Silvers warehouse yesterday.
David Silvers is a Honda parts supplier, scours the world for obsolete Honda parts and also imports and exports classic Japanese bikes.
Absolutely gorgeous! Super clean and simple. I totally dig it. Nice job!!
This is radical! Well done!
