Could be; that seat has had the strap cut off, the base is made of fiberglass
69-70 have the bend to them as those years have different side covers.
71 and new are parallel to the ground, somewhat, and without the bend.
Mine, 701 supercharged and intercooled
Haha! You just about gave me whiplash, after I saw all those belts and pulleys on the side of that motor.
Sorry, no injury intended, just boost is all.
We need a couple more angles on that thing
Damn, that's a full feature bike if there ever was one......
On the road again with a repainted tank and fatter front tire.
A view of the build.
A suggestion... start a build thread and document everything you did there. I'd be very extremely interested in reading that and it would be much easier to find/follow instead of interspersed in this thread.
HOLY COW - now we definitely need some details on that puppy Home build.
what sort of blower?
what type of relief valve?
how much boost?
what sort of carb?
what type of fuel do you run?
are you running an oil cooler - and photos please...
any durability issues (and this may be the sticky issue....)?
WOW - very nicely done indeed!
I’ll probably start a build tread this weekend.
Holy shit! That is some beautiful work.
