Just got home with this, 2,000 original miles, started and rode it. Also has correct carbs and airbox. All good. It's going to another member here.

I almost bought one of these from a fella down in Wichita about 7 or 8 years ago.
Rest assured it certainly wasn't in a nice of shape as yours.
Has this one had the factory mod to the oil supply system as yet ? ? ?

I'm aware of the story, and the mods, this one has none of them. Pretty much exactly as it left the factory 49 years ago.
Motor sounds, runs good.....:umm: :shrug:

Those are great bikes once sorted with the appropriate mods. My buddy had 3-1/2 of them and says they are nice and smooth at speed…this said, he did have an engine seize on him.

That one looks minty.
