light weight piston pins

The wiseco #S512 is the one I got and appears to be correct length for the Cruisinimage pistons when compared side by side just a lot lighter. Maybe got lucky and got compatible parts but still gonna talk to MMM at 650 central about the wrist pin oiling mod as soon as funds become more liquid....

I see the S512 has a 15mm ID.
Pretty thin-walled.
No wonder it's lighter...

Also, on a slightly different topic.....I have a can of Kal-Gard "piston kote" unused and unopened from a project long ago that I have been considering but not too sure about it. Does anybody have experience with it?

Seems like it. But, there's armchair engineering vs trust in a respected and proven racing parts supplier like Wiseco. I'd say go with it...
