Lost locating pin

I might have a spare I can mail you. Otherwise, I'm not sure, as it needs to be a tight fit w/ no chance of falling off.
Ok I found an object that was round and perfectly the diameter of the hole. It was a hand file tool and the handle happened to be perfect. So I made a replacement. I plan on maybe just using it temporarily until I can order a new one. I guess I answered my own question... lol let me know if anyone frowns upon this though. I dont see any reason why it wouldnt work just open to opinions.
I've cut some shank off a drill bit with a dremel to replace a missing pin.
I am reminded of the day Pete lost his points-side pin.
