Magnetos on the XS650 street bikes

Just wondering if anyone has used a magneto on their street bike? Or used one on any bike they have built.
Seems a bit pricey but it would eliminate a bunch of headaches I think.
Please contribute if you know of anyone.
I have questions.

Yes I used about five in the past never on a xs650 but I used Morris Mags on Triumph and BSA and on a couple Harleys. They work good once you learn how to set them up but now I think they are close to $1500 to buy a new one and with all the new electronic's out there I could use that cost into more motor work LOL

Yea,,,
I saw that nearly a grand tag too. Just was wondering though. Never hurts to ask but like Rich said.
There are better places to use that money. Although if a used one became available for less than new. I would be tempted to get it I think. Just trying to simplify this build as much as possible. I like that "clean" bare bones look. Nice curves n lines, no clutter.
