Manifold Intakes

So I just have a fairly quick question. I own a 75 xs 650 I am running stock carbs (mikuni bs 38s) I just bought some new mikuni vm34. I am wondering if my current manifold intake boots will fit on the vm 34s. I just got those boots last season they are pretty new and holy shit manifold intake boots are expensive! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I think the VM34s will fit in the BS34 boots but not the BS38 ones. Honestly, if I used VMs, I'd spring for the aluminum manifolds that just use a plain piece of hose between them and the carbs. More expensive initially yes, but replacing the rubber part in the future will be much cheaper. Basically, you'll make up the cost difference eventually.
