Master cylinder reservoir "diaper"

Rear master res cap seems to be weeping on my tracker. It's the round plastic type. I've seen pics of what appears to be a terrycloth wrap, similar to a wristband, wrapped around the body of the res. Can't find these listed anywhere. anyone know where to get them?

Lockhart Philips used to sell them. Haven't been there in a while (online) but I know that Tucker Rocky and Parts Unlimited still have stuff from them.

Just like you said Pre. Go to a Sports store and buy a terrycloth wrist band, if they still make them.

But it shouldnt be leaking. is the seal in the cap deteriorated?

shouldn't be, cause it's only got 'bout 450 miles or so on it (new from Mike's XS) but I'm not sure where the leak is from. Hard to tell cause it's damp on the res sides, wet on the bottom. Figure if I isolate the cap it'll be easier to diagnose the leak. Noticed it for the first time yesterday after a semi-spirited ride thru the twisties. Stay tuned..........
