Maximum width tires for a XS

What type of riding you do will determine your tires. The xs650 Standard was a British copy and should use the thinner tires like the Brit bikes. This is what helped the older Brit bikes handle.

I agree with what you are saying about handling, but I think the reality is that the guys looking to go to really fat tires, are only interested in the "look". Handling is probably very low on their top ten list.
