mikes xs socks

i just picked up a 82 xs 650 with mikes xs socks Part #06-3721. any one try the shocks out? i wanted to drop my bike at least 2 inch front and back. i really can see how i could use thos and lower it. i thought about getting shorter springs, but i think it would be a kinda hard not knowing the spring rate it has or i would need.

At first I thought MikesXS went into the clothing business - I prefer the gold toes versions myself.

I lowered mine 11" shocks and the forks by putting spacers in the damping rods and shortening the spings a similar amount. - Awesome. I used a 3/4" x 1 1/2" copper pipe coupling PVC works too.
