Anybody use one of the solenoids from Mikes? I'm running short on space in my custom battery/electronics box, which is now mounted under the seat rails which have been cut down etc. If I could at least rotate the bracket on the solenoid (it's an '81 Special II) I could make it work, but it seems to be one piece with the back of the solenoid. I can also mount it on the under side of the box, but I'm concerned about the elements getting to it. I would assume that the solenoids are not weather proof. I see that Mikes has a round solenoid that has a different mounting bracket which would definitely work. Any ideas are welcomed.
