Mikes xs voltage reg/rec problems

I am having issues with a custom wiring job. I want to be clear the stock wiring is gone. I have a headlight, taillight, start switch and solinoid. Everything is good but my battery is not charging. I have a mikes xs reg, wondering if its bad. This is combined with the pamco high output ignition. Looking for someone who has the same one and exactly where they connected all wires. Especially the orange and blue. I ran these to the black and green from the stator. One combination blows my 20 amp fuse the other is ok but its blows when riding and then the Battery drains.

I have seen people ungrounding the brush assym. but it look like thats 80's stuff. Mine is a 78.

If anyone has this reg please get back to me asap.

I've purchased this one. http://www.mikesxs.net/products-30.html#product-24-2085 and i used the wiring stated in the picture, worked fine.

I bought the solid state version with the voltage regulator...did you still use something in combiation with the one you bought?

No I didn't use anything else. I just repositioned the wires in the plug to the way the picture stated.

Still looking for help with my mikes voltage reg/rect. Alot of views but Im shocked no one has an answer....I know Im not the only guy who has this thing.

I really just need orange wire and blue wire info.
