Muffler

How dose this sound. Im looking to buy a pair of 1.5in 18in quiet-er core mufflers to put on my stock 72 xs headers. Next winter i plan on making 1.5in x 16g (or 1/8in) stainless heads to finish the look.
Unfortunately i have never seen an xs running in real life.
Has anyone had any experience with these mufflers?

I guess the question is, quieter than what? Those aren't a very big muffler so even though they have a baffle in them, I'm thinking they're still quite loud.

I believe those are made by cone engineering. They have videos on their website but they are on a triumph. I have their mini megaphones for my 78 but have yet to hear them run.

Not sure if this helps, but I believe the OEM " baseball bat" mufflers have a bit more throaty sound compared to shorter aftermarket mufflers. GggGary would be the goto here, since he's experienced numerous types. Many sound examples on YouTube, here's a couple:

The stock system sounds great on that one. I sure the cone eng muffler will sound fine (thought it would be cool to hear it first). I was just wondering if anyone had any useful experience with them. Would have like to go up a size, but it seem that its highly recommended to stay at stock.
