How many riders know that their bike can talk?Well it's true they can and this is how
They show the spark plug colour either light tan or dark indicating mixture
Colour of oil,dark indicating blow by gasses or if the clutch is slipping a bit this will discolour the oil also as the plates are burning up.
Another way to tell how the engine is running is to run a finger up the muffler tip to look for carbon build up.
These are just some of the things that have helped me "comunicate" with my bike and I'm sure there are many more.

On cold winter days at -28C, my bike says "I'm lonely here is this lousy garage". On warm summer days at +20C, my bike says "Get your ass out here and ride me".
