So here is the mock up!! And I like it!! Once she can stand on her own and with my lard ass and the engine in it, she will probably drop a bit more. I might drop the forks a bit more if it's needed, but I won't know until nearer the end.

Soon after, the heavens opened and I had to drag everything inside my shed. Took me ages! As I put the last bit in, the sun came out!!!!!

Bloody typical English weather!!!

Right, back to the shed for more grinding!!!

What forks are they ? Where they easy bolt on LOL ?

Thanks Kane! The forks are off a Yamaha R1, and they are NOT an easy fit! Still don't know what to do with them to be quite honest! Need to swap the gusset with an Original one, and also need to do someting about the bearings/spindle. Probably easier to get someone to turn down the spindle for me!

I'll keep you updated when I get to that point.........

Same mock up just with risers so I can flip the bars to see what it looks like.

Not sure if I like them up, I prefer them upside down........... still doesn't quite look right..........

I was lucky they came with the trees, well I got the legs and trees separate but off the same seller on epay. Gonna try and see if I can sort something out with the stock wheels. I hope I can as I am running WAY over budget already!!!

So I got my bits from Heiden, nothing exciting, nuts and bolts and gaskets and the like, so no pictures as they not wow or amazing hehe!!

AND they gave me a Tee shirt!!!! With an XS1 on it!!! I was well chuffed!

After looking at the pix again I choose the up.
But down looks good too.
Did you figures out y the kit was off center?

Thanks Johann, I'll post up what and how if I get them to work!

Down is growing on me, still want to do something different with the bars, but I may do that later.

May have my friend coming over soon to weld the brat kit on for me, and also do some reinforcements where the PO has raped the frame with an angle grinder!

Sending the engine off to some blasting soon, I can't wait!!

So I got my mate round last night to do some welding for me.................

So chuffed! He did a great job(better thanI could anyway!!!), and it's all welded up and good to go!!

He also added a nice chunky 3mmx15mm length of steel at the bottom where the PO had gone mad with his grinder! I feel a lot safer now!!

We also added the tank bungs today, so this weekend I MAY just have a ROLLER!!!!!!!

Did a bit of cleaning up the welds with a sanding disc today, looking a lot better now!!

Thanks dude! I'm looking forward to having a bike rather than bits in the shed!!! Still undecided if I want to drop the tunnel a bit or not....
