My cousin came by today with a portable scanner and I had him scan a few photos. This is my first XS650 taken in 1987. I paid $1300 for this XS650 with 750 kit, Cam, Mikuni`s, Champion frame and body work, Ceriani forks and everything as pictured. A 200 Bultaco Sherpa S with a Trackmaster frame and Barnes wheels etc, and a Kawasaki 125 flattracker also with aftermarket frame and Kennedy wheels etc. I bought these from a used car dealer that used to sponsor local riders here in the Ks area and he gave up on motorcycle racing. The XS would "Speed Wobble" and I always thought it to be highly unsafe but still fun to ride. Besides I had just turned into my 30`s so whats a broken bone or two. I never raced this XS . I sure wish I had it back at the price I paid.
