Finished up my latest build and thought I would share.

It began as a 1977 XS650D. Sad, lonely and left out in the rain.

It ended up as a 1977 XS650D with a couple of mods. Shiny and happy

Now she is headed to her new home in Lost Wages, Nevada.

Is it a new owner? Anyways the owner new or current will have a real nice rebuild bike that will turn heads I'm sure. Well done [emoji106][emoji102]

Hi jones,
nicely done!
Is that gas tank central chrome strip a la Triumph a stock thing on a '77 or your own whimsy?
Triumph did it to hide their tank's central raised seam but it's only a piece of bling on an XS650.

Hi Fred: Thank you for the compliment. The trim strip was my doing. I always look for some way to put my "signature" on each of my projects. The stock 650's did not have this.

Beautiful work, well done. The pin striping sets it off.
