Yea, that's the one I got. A lotta pricey though. $40 when I got it,from Mike's.It does work good, though. And the weather hasn't bothered it yet. It's got wet a few time's, caught in the rain. Only complaint is it is awful bright! Good in the day,but can be overwhelming at nite. I thought it was suppose to get dimmer at nite, but mine doesn't. Small price to pay, knowing my charging system is working properly.

It does have a dimmer, bottom right corner, if you cover it with your finger, even in daylight, it should dim. mine does :bike:

Snatching this new-member thread to say hi myself, new member all the way from Sweden, bought an 74" XS650, the one in my avatar, three years ago, its been idling in my dads garage since then, we worked on over the motor 2 years ago, and this weekend my dad thought the wait had been enough so he wired all the electrics and I went out with a can of gas, and.... 8 kicks later!

Now that it works its gonna be bobbed i think, always liked the clean look of the style.. :D

Edit: the last owner had it in his garage in a mess for 10 years.. :p

EmilSand; I'm not sure if I've been a member long enough to be allowed to welcome you, but what the heck, welcome to the site. Good luck on the 74:)

Thanks alot guys! And about the swedish xs-650 club, I have no idea at all, I do have a distant memory of a small website but not with alot of content, the xs-650´s doesnt seem to be that frequent in sweden, 0 at the largest buy/sell site, no spareparts either.. so thats why im looking outside the country :D

Welcome EmilSand..... From the "winter waste land", Winnipeg Manitoba. It was -30C here today and I went out to visit a rider on a 650 single BMW who I heading accross Canada... Coast to coast. Impressive.

Hope you get bike fixed up, there are plenty of good parts available in North America.

    Thanks alot for the links!
And yeah, about the progress, im currently putting together a "from buy to complete" file with photos, some text etc, ill put it up in a week or two for you to watch :)

And about the bikes and work with it all, couldnt be done without my greasmonkey of a father, hehe.. When i was 14 and wanted a moped, i didnt get a brand new one like all the friends, i was handed his 63" Crescent Topper, engine full of dust, mice-nests etc etc, but i teared it down and with help and overwatch from my dad, we got it to work in about 1-2 months, including paintjob AND managing to track down an original saddle, maybe sounds easy but to our knowledge there was only 6 fully functioning bikes left in the entire country.. hehe
