Newer and older rotors

OK,, I'm switching over to a DIY charging system,"banshee" I'm selling all of my rotors and stators to pay for it and I had a question about years as far a compatablility. Will a 82 rotor work in a 76 engine and vise versa 76 rotor in a 82 engine. Thanks in advance guys,,Jason

Of course the TDI bikes have a spark trigger on the rotor/stator and the points bikes don't, but I'd list the components seperately and not concern myself with it.

you betcha. let us know what you got for those parts. I've got a couple myself. They have traditionally been a very hot item on the used parts market, on accounta there weren't any new ones available. I think somebody is making a stator now though.
