Still breathing!
Funny, the old gal has been sitting on the back burner probably since last October. I fired her up mid winter and was pouring fuel out around the carbs. Shut her down and there she sat. Yesterday, the missus was doing some spring cleaning which translates to "get the hell outta the house", retired now ya know. Gotta learn the dance of avoidance. So out to the pole barn to see my neglected girlfriend. Dusted her off, pulled the carbs and found I had neglected to tighten a couple hose clamps on the fuel inlets when I had changed out some fuel line. Yep.
Got everything secured and back on, checked voltage, 10 volts. Choked, cycled the engine once with key off. Key on, kicked and she fired right up. Took her for a spin. We're back in business.

Life's a funny thing, grief also. Can't help but reflect on a couple of old members we had lost over the last year.....mebbe I've been grieving in a weird avoidance way.
