A little worried about buying a MX without a title, only bill of sale

Finished the build ready for to make her legal, needed a title and tags

Filled all the paper work out very carefully and my local DMV inspector
was great to work with. Planned ahead and got an Indemnity Bond for
double the worth of the bike, all good to go except for one problem.
On the bond they had my middle name as an initial. DMV lady rejected
everything, Had to get a rider for the correction

Lesson learned: always use full legal name on the DMV documents
and especially the bond and the rider.
it'll save you time and money

Cautiously check and double check all your forms
Happy hunting for those un-titled steal of a deals

Yeah man, sometimes they're strict about that stuff. Other times, they don't care... It's just who you get. However, just doing it right will get it done everytime.

Thanks Gary[/QUOTE]
The Indemnity Bond was $100, VIN inspection was free
$75 tags and title, My bike was valued a $1500, so the bond
was written for $3000

To fix the name, I needed a bond rider, that was $60 and it was sent UPS overnight

That rear brake rod is way too short. The arn should never progress past straight up or down. In your case down. At rest is should be between 8 to 7 oclock position. It has to do with leverage.

Its old pic, A lot of those issues were fixed by a lot better mechanic than me,
I'll take a recent pic when I can, Thanks for taking a look
