OEM Pilot Jets for BS34 carbs

Hello,

I'm working on an 81 XS650H for someone and we've got it back to stock (previously had some pods and other silliness) but I don't trust the pilot jets in them. I'm not sure if they were swapped or possibly bored, etc.

I checked Jets-R-Us, but they only have Main Jets. Is there a place to source new OEM pilot jets for these carbs?

Lots of places actually. If the carbs are the original BS34s then they use the common BS30/96 pilot. A #42.5 was stock .....

Many get their jets from Niche Cycle .....

Thanks, I mostly work on Honda CB's. This job is for a friend so the usual vendors, etc. are new to me.

Thanks, yeah I learned a long time ago don't even fool around with any aftermarket carb parts. The amount of time lost in trying to make it work "right" you could have just bought the OEM part and been done much faster.
