Omar's XRWS Seat

Quick question, I've looked at numerous build threads and e-mailed Robert at Omar's to no avail. All I need to know is ....Will I have to remove the seat hinge points from the frame on my 78 Special to install Omar's XRWS seat? Might want to take it back to stock someday. Pics look like it might sit over the hinge tabs in question.

I had to remove the seat hinge tabs on mine... I wasn't so worried about stock, the specials are ugly anyhow, why go back.

On a side note, Robert at Omar's has been super swamped. He was in town for Thanksgiving and came by the shop. He knows he is a bit behind and is doing his best to catch up. He makes some great products, so it's worth the wait...
