Just did a compression check. Didn't want to unhook the pamco, so to be safe I did it the old fashioned way. Room temps 65 and bike has been in here for over a week at that temp. 5 kicks each cylinder gave me 155# on each cylinder. I think I got a good one there.

I had a 5'-6", 140 lb friend of mine boast he could kick start my `51 modified panhead. Ok, sez I, try it.
He jumps down on it, KAPLOOMPH! He sailed right over the handlebars. Still has the scars...

Yup 155 both sides is a winner. That's about as good as it gets stock.
I can get as good or better numbers with the leg start compared to the electric. I just went out and bought some better shoes, It sucked kick starting with cheapo flimsy soled hikers.

Honestly I think my XS kicks over like a moped.........even with a fresh top end.

Most every Jap bike I own kicks easy. My KZ1000 - easier then the XS. My Honda CB400F and CB550.....easy as pie.

I had (sold it 6 months ago) a Russian Ural sidecar rig.....it was easy as pie to.

......but an old Harley....nah, Ill just watch while you kick it.

Dad's got a '47 Indian Chief; 80ci, bonnie heads, chet herbert cams 11:1 comp. Don't retard ign, it'll kick YOU over!!:wink2:
I'll post some pics soon!

No the Ninja doesn't have a kicker, but it and the Chief both can, and do run over 140!:yikes::bike:
