I bought & installed a new PAMCO w/E Advancer electronic ignition kit last July for my XS650. My bike ran well till last week. It suddenly died. I am not getting any spark. I even noticed a voltage drop between the advance box & the rotor. I tried the procedures & instructions listed for troubleshooting on Pampcopete's website to check the coil & the Pamco, but still have no luck. I have a new battery on my bike and a new multimeter for testing.
The readings I am getting are fluctuating between 14,000 - 16,000 Ohms. Could my coil be bad??
I am also getting 12 volts from the ignition wire to the coil. And measured 3 volts on the E-advancer to the Pamco for my red & green wires. How many volts should go to the Pamco??
What about any warranties on this kit??
