So I was going to attempt doing the Pamco ignition swap on my XS, until I realized that one of the holes wasn't drilled and tapped completely where the plate is mounted. Do I have any other ignition possibilities or am I stuck until I take this to have it drilled and tapped?

Well it wouldn't be the first time I was confused.
You are talking about this plate?
If so it goes on the left side.

Left meaning if you're on the bike on your left side, correct?

Yes, the side in the picture is the right side. It's the side where the mechanical advance goes (if you're using that Pamco system). The Left side (alternator side) is where the Pamco trigger system gets mounted.

Well shit, I'm hoping that I just made that stupid of a mistake and that solves the issue haha thanks.
