Hey guys, sorry of I'm beating a dead cat with this post but I've spent the last 4 hours searching for a step by step guide on how to properly time my bike with the new pamco ignition I installed. I've gone through and checked my cam chain, valve adjustments and carbs. The only thing I can't find a good step by step process for is the exact timing and how to set it with the pamco system, can anyone help me out? I'd really appreciate it. My bike is a 1981 xs650 with the pamco ignition, not the 277 high output, stock rotor. Thanks!

It's really just as simple as the instructions that come with it make it sound. Rotate the plate clockwise to advance, counter clockwise to retard. All you need is a timing light, make sure the mark on the rotor is between the two marks labelled "F" at idle and that it moves to the advance mark at ~3000 rpm.
