For Sale - pamco ultimate high output ignition system for sale

Hey guys,

I recently bought a 1983 XS and was looking to install the Hugh's PMA with a Pamco Ignition System. I unfortunately made 2 rookie mistakes while doing so.

My first mistake was forgetting to look at the current ignition system that was already on the bike. I assumed it was the stock points ignition system, but when i finally looked, someone before me had already installed a Boyer electronic ignition.

My second mistake was not looking at the return policy for MikesXS.com. I didn't realize that there are no returns for electrical products. So, now i'm stuck with a brand new, pamco ultimate high output ignition system that i don't need.

The system was $197 brand new, but because i'm wanting to get it off my hands, i'd be willing to sell it for $150 (shipping included). Please message me if you're interested.

Hi Scotty and welcome,
FWIW the '80 and newer XS650s never did have stock points.
They had a magnet and pickup built into the alternator and a TCI instead.
So you SURE your bike has a Boyer, eh?
No matter, so long as you have a functioning ignition you'll not need the Pamco.
At best you'll see most of your money back on it.
At worst you'll have a fallback ready to install.
