Petcock Recall- Think its too late :-)

You will likely have to prove that the fix was never performed on your bike, and that your bike has the original petcocks.

I'm the second owner of my 1979 xs650, and a friend of my Dad's was the first owner. It was purchased at our local Yamaha dealer, which is still in business is the same location it was in 1979. The bike only has 4,600 original miles on it, and I have every receipt and shop ticket for this bike's service and parts from the day it left the dealership in 1979, to when I changed the oil last week. I'm 100% positive that my bike has the original petcocks, and that this recall was never performed. I might have a shot at getting free replacements...
