Picked this bike up at the beg of the month from a guy that was moving and didn't have time to finish it up. The bike basically needed put together, wired. After taking care of that, dealing with some issues, cutting the pipes and redoing them along with cutting the fender and bars, adding some foot pegs ect, I had it running(still getting it dialed in). I decided I wanted to do a different tank. So i scooped up a older sporty tank. I like the tanks to look nice and tight over the engine. I am in the process of cutting the tunnel out, raising it in the tank so the tank sits nicely on the bike. Just figured I would make a thread to show some folks the progress. A few pics to show the start of it

Thanks. I think so too. :D Here is a little ring that was made so that the new welds are not pulling directly on the corners of the of where the new tunnel will be welded to the tank.
