So are there any good (not cheap chinese made garbage like a lot of the ebay ones ive seen) piggyback shocks out there besides ohlins? I havnt had much luck finding anything. Mikes has some but they dont really list much info. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There's also the YSS G-series; around $550 USD, and a lot of bang for the buck. Gotta ask, though; are you set on the piggyback design for appearance or performance? If performance is your motivation, there are plenty of shocks out there that will deliver fine performance without a piggyback reservoir. Re. the shocks from Mike's XS, the less said the better.

Funny timing. I don't know how deep your pockets are to experiment, but here is a link to ones I came across the other day.

From what I have read, Tec>RFY>Stock.

Review that I came across, http://www.dotheton.com/forum/index.php?topic=56409.0

Check out the links in that forum, some dude specializes in shocks and did a review.

Please keep us updated on your answer to your shocks.
I'm running a pair of these (tec) on my xs at the moment ,I'm about 12 stone and still find them very firm riding solo on their softest setting ,except for that have found them to be a good shock for the price but early days as only put about 1500 kls on them so far

Thanks for the info. Honestly id rather just spend a bit more to get shocks that are well known to be a good product than spend a little less on a so so product. Ill probably just end up splurging on some nice ones.

Sorry, missed your question on where to buy the YSS G-series shocks. Call the number given on the website. The shocks are built to order in Thailand, delivery takes a few weeks.
