I was looking into using a plasti dip coating on my XS until I can afford to have it professionally painted. Since it peels off it seems like the way to go, but I was wondering if anyone on here had tried it yet. If so, what were your experiences or tips to share? It puts down a decent looking matte finish and almost seemed too good to be true. Thoughts?

I have used it on several projects and it works great and comes off easy if sprayed on a clean surface.

I used it on wheels and the grille on my CTSV. Works GREAT!

They both held up fairly well, with the grille looking the best.

I used red on the wheels and was spraying over black. The brake dust would stick to the plstidip and discolored the red, so I pulled it off after a few months.

The grille was done about a year ago and still looks great.

Plastidip is great for wheels but I wouldn't use it on a tank. The first time you drip fuel on it, you are screwed. Gasoline will peel it right off.
