After much trial, error, and research I have found a great solution for our ongoing dilemma of worn-out, squishy handlebar bushings, without going to expensive solid metal.

    Each kit includes:
    - Four top-quality polyurethane bushings
    - Two steel inner sleeves
    - Four nylon washers
    - Two stainless steel fender washers
    - Two stainless steel split-lock washers
    - Two stainless steel nuts
    - Two stainless steel clips

This setup is a perfect fit and provides ample vibration damping and is extremely durable.

This kit will fit all XS models from ‘77-‘83

I believe so. Are you able to measure the outside diameter of your stock bushings? That’ll give us the answer.

Would you happen to know the durometer rating of the bushings?

These fit ‘79- ‘83, but may work on earlier models. I’m hoping to fit them in other triple trees soon. I will update with the new info. Thanks for that!

Haha, a safe place. They know us there.

Durometer is just a measurement of the hardness/squishyness of rubber stuff.

You can Google "Durometer scale" and get descriptions like this. The Shore "A" is the most common scale.
