some new rearsets are going onto my XS650 very soon, but it occurs to me that i'm missing a part and don't know where to buy it. on the shifter side, the rearset linkage rods can be attached to a little adapter like so:

however, i can't seem to find one anywhere for sale with a spline size that fits the rear brake side. Does anybody know where I can find that part? Neither of them came with the rearsets unfortunately.

a suggestion was made that i should cut off the existing rear brake lever and drill a small hole in it for the linkage rod to attach to, but the problem is that the rear brake lever is too bulky and doesn't quite work correctly in that position. It wants to collide with the engine cover, or with the exhaust if i turn it downward. no bueno. I need something lower profile like the above.

What do people usually use?
