It is my belief that all the "Special"s 78 ,up used shocks the same length.
The "Standard" models of 77,78,79 used slightly longer shocks and benefit from even longer shocks. Say 13"or so.
Other members may have better input ?
Im measuring 12 1/2 " eye to eye centers on these 79 chrome Special II shocks
