Hopefully a simple question:

I want to make sure I'm getting an accurate voltage reading.

Can I (or should I) bypass the keyswitch for my regulator sensing wire?

I think the M-Unit (serving as my keyswitch) isn't giving me an accurate reading for my regulator. I want to go straight to battery and skip the keyswitch (M-Unit).

SOLID STATE REG/REC. M-UNIT.

Thanks.

gggGary,

Thanks for the reply. I've searched this site and others and checked out the manufacturer's site for any clues as well before I posted my question. (I have a copy of the Ricks Diagram on my computer. The bottom one might as well be Chinese for me. Can't decipher it.)

That being said, if I shouldn't bypass the keyswitch, what would the reason be? Parasitic drain? Bad for the Regulator?

Thanks again.

MD
