Replication Wiring Harness vs NOS

Hi there,

Did some searching and see a lot of people installing reproduction wiring harnesses with varying levels of success. Are they much of a muchness compared to OEM, or is it worth spending the extra money for a NOS off ebay. Looking to redo mine on my XS2, as it's in quite a poor state.

Prolly few issues with a simple early harness. My 70 has a replacement harness that works fine. Some fiddling (errors) with the later model replacement harnesses seems to be the norm.

When I did my XS2 I had to add the wires for he kill switch, e-start switch and solenoid. Other than that it fit pretty well. I got my harness from Niche.

I have the reproduction harness on the XS2 and all my other bikes. No problems with any of them. The XS2 harness was from MikesXS 12 years ago.
