Seat Pan Differences

What are the differences between seat pan styles on the Specials and between 70's and 80's models?

bottom latch for 80+ and side latch with hinges 79 and back

They(specials) aren't as flat as the standards.
The standards and the earliest specials were hinged on the side.
The newer specials have tang and slot mounts in the front and notched tang and clasp in the back.
